Weeknote 7/1

I’ve just had a rather spiffing festive break, but now duty calls and so I’m back at Raging Swan’s global HQ and ready to dive into a new year of work! I’m rather buoyed up at the moment as December was a record month for Raging Swan Press! I couldn’t be happier!

In any event, this week Raging Swan Press is releasing the first in a new series of supplements. The Urban Dressing line is designed to do for dungeons what the Dungeon Dressing line does for dungeons. The first instalment, Urban Dressing: Market Stalls by Brian Liberge makes it much easier for a time-pressed GM to manage a PC’s stroll through a town or city’s market place.

I hope you like it and that it enhances your game. As this is a new line, I’m looking for suggestions to make future instalments even better; please drop me a comment below with your thoughts.

Also releasing this week is So What’s The Riddle Like, Anyway? II by Liz Smith. Picking up where it’s predecessor left off it contains scores of new rumours to bedevil and delight your players.

In other news, work returns to normal this week. As I basically took the last few weeks off, I’ve got tons to do! I’ve got loads to do on 100% Crunch: Skeletal Champions as well as a half-dozen or so contracts to write for projects coming out in March onwards. I also have development work to complete on Dungeon Dressing: Double Doors, Wilderness Dressing: Woodlands and Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi. Finally, if time allows I’ll be uploading a web enhancement for Dungeon Dressing: Fountains.

Blimey.

I also need to take a hard look at the release schedule for February onwards; while I’m quite confident February is all locked up, I’m less confident about March onwards. If you know me, you’ll know I’m not good without a plan so I’ll be working hard this week to formulate one!

Have a great week.
